The annual hunter education course in Chetek is scheduled to begin Monday, April 1, in the Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Middle School cafeteria. The safety course will run Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays for two weeks (ending on Monday, April 15), from 7–9 p.m.

Individuals taking the hunter safety course can sign up online at https://gowild.wi.gov or at the first meeting. Individuals should bring a $10 registration fee and their Department of Natural Resources customer ID number on the first night of the course.
