Rodney M Barnes, 75, of Spring Green, Wisconsin passed away January 20, 2024.

Born April 25th, 1948 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin to Marion and Shirley Barnes. Shirley eventually remarried to Richard (Dick) Clark. Rod was a butcher for many years, even working at Prem Meats up until last week but he ultimately retired from the Operator’s Union. He had unparalleled work ethic, dedicating countless hours to his profession while still finding time to be there for family. In 1984 Rod married his wife Carol. His biggest accomplishment was being a kind and loving father to her three children, Randy, Ronny and Staci. Rod’s heart of gold made him countless friends that considered him irreplaceable. He had a love for the outdoors, deer hunting and fishing. His greatest love however was his children and grandchildren. Rod was preceded in death by his father, mother, step-father; son, Ronny and grandson. He is survived by his wife, Carol; son, Randy; daughter, Staci; 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, sister and nieces and nephews.
